About Me...

           My name is Kelsey Gatis and I'm an aspiring author and photographer. Normally, I live in Ontario, Canada, but currently I'm living in Aarhus, Denmark during a year-long exchange. I'm in my third year of university studying English and Creative Writing (so when you read all of my writing advice and wonder to yourself 'what gives her the authority to tell me how to defeat writer's block?'... I study it. You can trust me. I also minor in history so feel free to ask me anything about the Middle Ages or World War II). For my exchange, I'll be studying at Aarhus University, but at home, I attend Brock University. 

            I self-published my first book when I was eleven years old (sure, it's filled with grammar mistakes and plot holes, but I'm proud of it) and I'm currently working on a new novel that I hope to have professionally published. I absolutely love writing, and when I'm not writing, I'm reading.

            This website is what I like to refer to as my 'creative platform' and, here, you can find short stories, artwork, writing advice, photography, and more, all created by yours truly.
